Jessica Galbreth
Jessica Galbreth was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 29th, 1974.
She began her love of fantasy art at a very young age. In fact,
during her grade school years, you could usually find her after
school at the Electric Rainbow, an enchanting new age shop a few
blocks from her home, poring over books, calendars and any other
fantasy imagery she could find. In high school, Jessica showed
a great interest and natural talent for painting and drawing.
She went on to study the fine arts in college, attending the University
of Toledo, inside the Toledo Museum of Art. There she majored
in painting with a focus on the human figure.
"I draw much of my inspiration for my art from the intricate
beauty of nature, as well as from my fascination with ancient
mythology. Many times, when I am painting my "portraits" of deities
from ancient myth, I feel as if I am just a vessel - whereas I
am being "used", so to speak, to bring forth the images onto paper.
Often, my finished works look nothing like I planned them to...it's
as if my hands are being guided by unseen forces as the painting
takes on a life of its own."

Amy Brown
Amy Brown is, without doubt, one of the most highly talented
fantasy artist in the world today.
Hailing from the Pacific Northwest she was born in Bellingham,
Washington in 1972 and, like all talented artists, learned to
draw at a very young age. The main influences in her fantasy art
has come from the illustrations of Brian Froud and Arthur Rackham.
Amy Brown is often questioned about how or where her inspirations
come from.
"My inspiration can come from anywhere, movies, books,
a phrase heard in passing. Sometimes I get frustrated, because
I have so many ideas fighting to come out. Every painting has
so many possibilities directions it can take.
Often the idea I start out with becomes something else entirely
by the time the piece is finished. But sometimes I get blocked
and I turn to my collection of art books for inspiration.
When that fails, I stare at the blank paper for two or three
hours before giving up. Some days the muse just doesn't feel like
stopping by."

Myrea Pettit
Fascinated from her earliest memories of the world of fairies,
of wondrous stories of my childhood, she tended not to over read
books but be enchanted by the wonderful illustrations of Margaret
Tarrant, Cicely Mary Barker, Rene Cloke and Arthur Rackham.
She spent so many of our childhood hours when not doing our
schoolwork, and every weekend, drawing and painting or colouring.
Born in 1970, her interests centre around classical music, conservation
of the environment and wildlife. She travels extensively throughout
Europe in her quest to search for the hideaways of the little
people and their friends.
"My fairy drawings are my own inspiration, either created
for poetry or storybooks or to inspire the imagination of children
and adults. Subjects chosen have been selected to be used in magazines,
on limited edition plates and fine china, place-mats, wall paper
and other decorative products."
